About this job
We are searching for motivated, customer focused team members that enjoy satisfying customer needs. Our ideal individual will be passionate about animal care (large and small), have exceptional people skills and are driven to grow and advance in their careers with us. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Provide courteous and timely service to all customers by determining their needs, sharing product knowledge and suggesting the appropriate merchandise to satisfy their needs.
Stocking and recovering merchandise as directed by the management staff in a timely manner.
Communicate all situations and/or conditions that affect the store to the management staff (i.e. customer complaints, item requests, inadequate inventory levels, etc...)
Adhere to all established safety procedures.
Perform any other tasks that are assigned.
The majority of the job is indoors, although the greenhouse and livestock equipment are outside the store. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Previous retail experience a must.
