Material Handler / Production Worker

-Responsible for repetitive lifting of industrial and commercial glass
-Will be required to lift glass between 50-75lbs
-Involved in various steps of glass production
-Required to open crates, breaking of wood
-Material handling of glass to load machines
-Also responsible for unloading finished glass off machines
-Must be willing to clean glass, with use of Windex and a rag or load glass onto washer machine
-Prepare glass to be stored/shipped, which includes packing/crating/etc.
-Ability to help, work in other departments as needed
-Polishing department, load and unload dolley's to clean glass
-Tempering department would load glass onto machine from a vertical position to horizontal on machine (bending/lifting glass).
-Determine correct side of glass, measure glass, and label glass
-Paint department would include cleaning before and after painting. After paint, responsible for cleaning edges, using a scraper or razor to remove excess paint while checking for quality
-Should be able to read/work from diagrams, schematics, drawings, etc.
-Would prefer candidates with tempered glass background/but must have a strong mechanical aptitude (ability to read tape measure, use of hand and power tools)
-Required to follow all safety rules/regulations
M-F 7am-3:30pm (flexibility to work between the hours of 6am - 4:30pm)
Could work some Saturdays...

-Need to have good communication skills and personality to fit in with current shop emplmoyees
