About this job
We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Material Handler - Inspection Technician.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Inspect and perform sorts/reworks on non-conforming and/or suspect material, using measuring and gaging tools and visual techniques in determining conformance to engineering specifications.
Determining methods and processes needed to measure part conformance, according to the allowed dimensional tolerances and normal gaging practices.
Document and report non-conformance's to specifications using computerized quality documentation system.
Contain non-conforming parts and materials
Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Lead
Complete all other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Standard and Metric Math Skills required
Written and verbal communication skills
Customer service skills and ability to maintain professional composure both on and off-site.
Follows direction
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Competency in operating power and hand tools
