Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Assembler.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently hiring an Assembler for one of our clients in South Milwaukee, WI!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sorting and Checking, Inspection, Tool-Related Assembly.

Assembles mechanical components according to blueprint, bill of materials chart, and shop order specifications. Mounts, refines and fastens units using mechanical or power hand tools and gauges.

Perform a variety of repetitive sub and final assembly operations on various standard product lines.

Perform some complicated sub-assembly operations, usually limited to a specific standard procedure - on a repetitive basis.

May be assigned to perform preliminary circuit testing and HiPot testing.

Screen defective parts or make minor adjustments as necessary.

Interact with other departments as needed for advise and decisions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED

1 to 3 years Experience in role.

Ability to read and use drawings, routings, blue prints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.

Ability to use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job.

Knowledge of soldering operations is preferred.

Working knowledge of various hand and power tools associated with assembly operations.

Length of Contract: 13 Months

Schedule: 8 Hours/Day, 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $14.87/hr
