Mechanical Assemly Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Looking for an Assembly Specialist for a growing company in Elgin! Position Summary: Senior assembly position requiring the performance of regular assembly duties along with the other functions such as creating simple parts, brackets, and working on special projects. Responsibilities: - Read work orders and follow job instructions to assemble parts per specifications - Meet quality and quantity levels as determined by management - Make simple parts as needed - Inspect and repair parts - Work on special projects as assigned - Use basic power tools, tape measure, caliper, micrometer, and indicator - Work with multiple job types and optimize daily jobs - Complete paperwork as necessary - Provide communication to supervisor when problems / issues arise - Clean immediate work area - Help co-workers as needed - Provide good suggestions to supervisor in order to improve work processes Responsibilities include other duties as assigned.
