About this job
Operates a variety of equipment in the construction, repair, and maintenance of stream and wetland restoration and storm pond retrofit projects.
Duties include excavating stream channels, grading, installation of grading control structures, and replacing culverts in an environmentally mindful, structurally precise and aesthetically natural manner.
Other duties include operating excavators, backhoes, loaders and bobcats.
Cutting grade to the job specifications and basic machine maintenance.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience at the operator level in the field, preferably in aquatic environment
Proven machine operating experience and the ability to adapt to changing field conditions
Candidates should have a valid drivers license
Ability to read basic construction/engineering plans
