Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become part of our team and to join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
As a CAREGiver, you will provide:
- Personal care services like bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Assistance with ambulation and safe transfers
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation and clean up
- Companionship through engaging conversations and activities
- Light housekeeping services like laundry, vacuuming, and dusting
- Errands and incidental transportation for things like doctors appointments and grocery shopping
- Safety and peace of mind to the client and their family
The requirements to be a CAREGiver include:
- Possession of a valid PA driver's license and automobile insurance
- Access to reliable transportation to and from shifts in the within 15 miles or 30 minutes of your home
- Willingness to submit to a thorough criminal background check, Motor Vehicle Record Check, and drug screen
- Ability to treat and to care for seniors with dignity and respect
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
