Maintenance Technician

To efficiently perform the duties of the Maintenance Technician in accordance with the

policies and procedures established by the hotel.

Basic skills: Painting/electrical/plumbing/HVAC/carpentry/wallpaper/sheetrock.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete hotel repairs and perform preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel quality maintenance standards are achieved.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within the hotel such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.
• Ensure basic electrical and HVAC systems are in proper working order.
• Check and make minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Report work completed daily.
• Respond in courteous manner to questions, complaints or requests from guests.
• Perform quality maintenance routines.
• Perform general maintenance on property grounds/curb appeal/patrol grounds for trash
• Snow removal.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with Hotel Standards of Grooming and Standards of Conduct.
• Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor.
• Physical ability to lift/pull/push.
• Must always make guest satisfaction a priority within the guidelines of the Hotel.
• Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
