We have a full-time opening for a Fabricator/Break-Punch Press Operator.
Must be able to work at least 3 shifts per week.
- Must have 1 or more years experience.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Wage: 14.00-14.50 per hour
Requirements
Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for individuals with fabricating, carpentry or machine operating experience to work for a locally owned company located on the southwest side of Madison, WI. This is a temp to hire position with competitive pay and a chance to get your foot in the door with a great company. Qualified individuals should attach their resume and apply now.
Job Description
Position, align, fit parts to form complete units or subunits
Inspect and ensure there are no defects and that specifications are met
Report noncompliant issues to team leaders immediately
Frequent use of brake press and punch presses, and hand tools
Verify conformance of work pieces to blueprint specifications
Comply with health, safety, and occupational health regulations
Document and complete paperwork as required
Complete all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year fabricating or machine operating or carpentry experience
Previous experience using drill and or brake press, punches and hand tools preferred
Welding experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and experience reading blueprints
Experience using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure and gauges
Ability to stand for entire shift, and the ability to bend, crouch and kneel
Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions
Strong work ethic and positive attitude and a team player
Reliability and punctuality are a must
