Line Cook (Fryers, Grills, Chinese wok)

You must bring at least 1 plus years of line cook experience in a high volume restaurant.


Shift: Variable including weekends and holidays. Full time up to 40 hours with the chance of over time when business permits.

Compensation: up to $9 an hour
Successful candidates will have great communication skills, be dependable and bring an enthusiastic attitude to our team.

Job Responsibilities
• Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Chef.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a Chef, Sous Chef or other manager at any time.

Minimum Requirements
• At least 1 years in a high volume kitchen.
• Strong professional cooking technique and knife handling skills.
• Advanced food knowledge and a robust desire to learn more.

Working Conditions
• this position will spend 100 percent of the time standing.
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat and water.
• The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
