Menu123 is an online and mobile food-ordering company dedicated to connecting hungry diners with local takeout restaurants.

You'll be responsible for building the Menu123 restaurant and catering network through a combination of phone sales and customer facing visits.By offering a service that requires no cost to participate, you are providing these business owners with the opportunity to increase their order volume/revenue without increasing overhead costs.

This "sales" position is a great opportunity to leverage your skills to drive new business to our company and its restaurant affiliates, directly impacting Menu123's growth in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York markets. Success will require resourcefulness, persuasion, determination, a competitive spirit, and the ability to easily connect with people from all walks of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Determine best practices for restaurant and caterer acquisition
* Identify length of sales cycle
* Create Business Plan for meeting objectives
* Conduct daily cold calls to identify prospective restaurants and identify owners
* Provide input/drafts for various telephone scripts
* "Sell" Menu123's value proposition and close over the phone
* Execute on-line and in-person sales presentations
* Set appointments to meet with restaurant owners upon request
* Periodically travel to restaurant sites to close a deal, get a signature, and/or pick-up a menu
* Provide input for marketing collateral necessary to make sales (postcards; brochures; etc.)
* Meet minimum "sales" goalsfor restaurant and caterer acquisition throughout probationary and employment periods
* Maintain relationships with restaurant and caterers to keep Menu123 top of mind
* Retain current restaurants while acquiring new ones
* Be cognizant of menu changes at restaurants and ensure the system is updated correctly
* Continuously work with restaurants to make sure order process is working (i.e. fax or e-mail orders) and staff is aware
* Minimize restaurant declines
* Manage time for inside and outside sales while continuously keeping pipeline full
* Begin database development process by tracking leads and sales in Excel
* Submit weekly and monthly sales reporting by recording daily activity
* Keep updated calendar
* Gather restaurant feedback, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management
