Job description:

The Inbound Customer Care Assistant bachelor's degree required. Will provide professional customer service to individuals ordering diabetic supplies for insulin pumps and coagu-check meters consumers of our client, Roche Diagnostic. Provide product information and take phone orders; provide follow-up. Process internet orders placed on the company website; follow up on issues which hinder order processing. Advice consumers regarding, insurance, EOB's, claims, invoices and medical necessity requirements. Respond to insurance and billing inquiries and process payments. Track shipments and create returned goods authorizations. Update customer information. Route patients to correct departments for other needs.

Job Responsibilities:

-Servicing inbound consumer contacts, responsible for maintaining established service levels while providing for an exceptional customer experience.

-Troubleshoot, customer inquiries about orders, product availability, and status of order, medical billing, EOB's, claims and invoices.

-Ensures status of account is current (i.e., current medical insurance card on file, patient information is current, etc.).

-Possess thorough knowledge of client's healthcare products and services upon completion of requisite training.

-Able to solve day to day issues and collect information that aids in decision making.

-Provide customer service with courtesy, integrity and efficiency to exceed client expectations.

-Effectively communicate with customers by composing accurate, prompt and effective replies to customer contacts.

-Accurately document accounts in a detailed and timely fashion on all customer contacts according to the database parameters and the guidelines defined within the respective departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

-At all times, company policy and best practices in the areas of security must be followed, with special emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.

-Maintains order maintenance report.

-Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree required.

-Experience in healthcare, customer service, call center, and fast-paced environment highly preferred.

-Knowledge of Medical Insurance, Private Payers, Medicare, Claims, EOB's, and Insurance Billing preferred.

-Efficient and effective verbal and written communication and listening skills.

-Ability to learn, retain and develop expert product knowledge for areas of responsibility after training required.

-Strong computer and keyboard ability: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and the ability to learn additional databases required.

-Ability to multitask during a conversation, combining listening skills, talking, typing, and system research simultaneously required.

-Strong organizational, planning and time management skills required.

-Well-developed problem analysis with proven ability to make quick and effective independent decisions.

-Customer Care-Assistants candidates must demonstrate the willingness to professionally cooperate with others and work in a team environment.

-Customer Service-Customer Care Representatives must have the proven ability to meet established (KPIs).

-Key Performance Indicators) required.

-Must have the proven ability to professionally receive developmental and positive feedback from team coaches and supervisory staff.
