  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Marketing and Communications, or Business and related fields
  • Experience designing and developing training materials for adult learners in the classroom, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Experience training/teaching in a classroom environment a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise explanations of complex concepts and engaging course content for a diverse audience of professionals
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including strong editing skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe software and MS Office Suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

 

Sales Channel Training meets the training needs of our internal and external audiences by producing and delivering instructor led training, online, video, and reference materials. Our primary topics range from sales and marketing to new technology and operations.

 

Position Overview

This position requires the candidate to demonstrate solid instructional design skills that meet the requirements of the adult learner in both classroom and virtual learning settings. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to quickly research and learn new information and skills, and translate that information into interactive, engaging, and relevant training materials in multiple mediums for the target audience.

  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging, interactive, and instructionally sound training materials in a variety of formats and delivery methods, including instructor-led training, webinars, job aids, and reference materials
  • Research subject matter, conduct interviews, and collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers to ensure accuracy of materials and relevance to the target audience
  • Ensure training materials are innovative and engaging, while collaborating with groups that focus on e-Learning, training delivery, multimedia, and social business technology
  • Design and develop learning objectives and assessments
  • Apply adult learning theory through development and evaluation methods
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
