What we are looking for:
A caring, compassionate person, who has the ability to care for others and the desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors. 

Skills:
No formal training or previous experience is necessary. Home Instead provides PAID hands-on training to their caregivers both before beginning assignments and ongoing PAID training to keep their skills up to date. People ranging from nursing students to active seniors are becoming caregivers every day. Why not you? 

Duties Include:
• Companionship
• Light housekeeping
• Meal Plan & Prep
• Medication Reminder
• Dressing
• Bathing
• Person Care (if needed)
• Transportation
• Errands

CAREGiver Job Requirements Include: 
- 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred 
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening and other screening as required 
- Ability to pass criminal background check 
- Ability to pass Illinois Department of Public Health fingerprint check
- Live-in candidates need a minimum of 1 year experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation/car with insurance a plus 
- Ability to provide a minimum of three personal references and three employment references 
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English and eligible to work in U.S. 
- Positive attitude and great communication skills 
- Ability to drive or take public transportation to client's location 
- Flexible schedule, availability to work part-time and weekend a big plus
- CNA Certificate a plus
