Responsibilities:
The Merchant, Category-eCom is responsible for contributing to the establishment of a one-three year strategic direction for respective area(s) of accountability. The Merchant, Category-eCom must gain an understanding of the complexities and unique growth opportunities in eCommerce. Goals will be tied to the success of attaining sales and profit targets. Achieved through new vendors, products, promotions & vendor funding.
They will be responsible for building and managing the virtual warehouse product assortment for one or more categories by ensuring that there is a logical extension of in-store products for the online customer. They will also be responsible for optimizing storefronts and category pages to maximize conversion.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 7 years experience in related field
