About this job

Responsibilities:

Provides Human Resource and administrative support to HR management and employees. May assist business unit and/or facility leadership with administrative tasks.

Assists management in daily activities. Tracks HR information and maintains spreadsheets; coordinates special events; responsible for processing invoices; orders supplies; processes check requests and employee referral bonuses; serves as a relief for receptionist and a back-up for facility-related issues.

Administers department-wide procedures and best practice activities. Assists in execution of HR initiatives as related to corporate objectives; coordinates various morale events, including Company picnic; creates HR newsletter for managers; researches HR problems and answers questions.

Assists with requests for recruiting and consistent hiring practices.Participates in recruitment and selection process by posting positions, tracking applicants, conducting phone and preliminary interviews. Conducts new hire orientation and completes administration of new hires.

Coordinates various work/life programs, various training programs, material and procedures. Coordinates special events and consignment program; participates in Work/Life Advisory Committee; conducts training on HR benefits or topics.

Reviews and follows with employee documentation. Completes administration of tuition reimbursement; solves payroll issues; processes requests for employee loans, FMLA and disability benefits.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

One to two years of experience and/or training.
