This position will be responsible for leading Product Innovation initiatives from identifying meaningful opportunities, developing strategic approach, leading new product ideation and validation, and initiative sell-in to Arby's Business Leadership Team. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identify high priority new menu/product development & innovation opportunities that help achieve stated business objectives by mining and analyzing consumer research materials, industry insights, competitive landscape, and Arby's current menu & financial performance. Lead menu/product initiatives from charter/briefing through qualified concept and product that meets Guest, Brand, Operations, and Financial objectives. * Lead cross-functional teams in both identifying new product opportunities and in delivering initiative excellence, including Culinary, Brand Marketing, Business Analysis, Consumer Insights, Finance, and Operations. * Lead sell-in/approval of initiative test/launch plan from Arby's Business Leadership team in close collaboration with multifunctional partners. * Be the go-to team expert for integrating relevant industry trends, culinary trends, and best-in-class product development approaches into Product Development efforts. * Develop competitive intelligence within assigned categories and projects; determine implications for Arby's, and recommend strategic and tactical responses. * Develop and present various product marketing briefs that reflect product development strategies and objectives, guiding collaborative ideation partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and various agencies as needed. * Lead innovation efforts ensuring broad reaching exploration to uncover differentiating and motivating big ideas. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: * Required Minimum: Bachelors Degree * Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Marketing EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: * 6 years minimum experience in marketing and product development REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Passion for food and the direction Arby's is headed * Understanding of marketing/brand/product development management principles * Analytical, organizational and written and verbal communication skills * Ability to effectively lead a cross functional team and influence senior management's thinking * Food service industry/restaurant operations knowledge a plus * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver on time Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
