DishOne plays a vital role as the face-to-face sales arm of DISH with a primary focus on door-to door sales.  The Sales Manager will play a vital role in building the door-2-door channel at schools outside of the traditional recruiting opportunities within the I-15 corridor.

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; 5+ years related experience, 2+ years supervisory/management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff
  • Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • Requires high level computer expertise, including use of Internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
  • Flexible, innovative with ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for building and managing DishOne’s University intern program
  • Develop the overall strategy of this program required to achieve recruiting goals and activation targets
  • Must work with the DishOne team  providing strong leadership, direction, communication, and support
  • Set expectations and hold the DishOne team and interns accountable for performance and as representatives of the DISH brand
  • Liaison between DISH, DishOne, University staff and interns
  • Work to build DishOne’s brand on campus through career counselors, professors or student organizations
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships with University staff and interns
  • Continuously monitor and report on performance of all strategic initiatives, including an analysis of sales results, KPIs and cost analysis
  • Identify areas of opportunity and implement changes as necessary to capitalize on these opportunities
  • Work with marketing to create marketing support plan for program, including the creation of recruiting materials, brochures, and videos
  • Develop and deliver a program that is focused on “business skills” to aid with the interns’ overall professional development
  • Create and host year end reviews with all interns, which will include presentations from interns
  • Identify and work with interns to apply for full-time opportunities at DISH corporate
