Enhance the life of a senior in your community through non-medical companionship and home-helper services. Build lasting relationships while helping seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes. If you live in Livermore or Pleasanton we are looking for you! There is a need for CAREgivers in Livermore and Pleasanton so if you are compassionate, patient, and reliable we want you! We need CAREgivers that have a heart to come alongside Seniors to help them with daily activities. Home Instead CAREGiver's benefit from initial and on-going job training, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to meet new people and develop meaningful relationships.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Companionship and conversation
· Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
· Medication and appointment reminders
· Assistance with grooming and bathing
· Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
· Alzheimer’s Care
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
· Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
· Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
· Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
· Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
