Reports To: AR Manager

Develop and implement Allocation and/or Replenishment strategies with the A/R Managers, Planners and Merchants. These strategies will determine how to most effectively utilize our inventory to support merchandise plan, advertising and competitive initiatives. Ensure that new stores open with the correct assortments and appropriate inventory levels as determined by the new store plan.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate bulk purchase orders using JDA-Arthur Allocations and Place purchase orders for replenishment items using E3 by JDA
• Maintain proper inventory levels by store location to support sales, margin and turn goals.
• Partner with Manager, Senior Merchandise Analyst and Buyers to create and implement merchandise allocation and replenishment buy strategies.

• Review regular in stock reporting for key and advertised items. Determine actions to correct instock issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Buyers and Planners on item flow based on ladder plans, E3 forecasts and advertising schedule.
• Create ad-hoc analysis to react to current and future business trends and present findings to Manager, Buyers and Planners.

• Analyze and communicate product, size, color and regional inventory needs.
• Ensure new stores open with the correct assortment and appropriate inventory levels as determined by the new store plan.
• Work with vendors to improve order fill rates, reduce lead times and provide projected inventory need for future months’ orders.

• Recommend and execute inventory re-balancing opportunities as necessary.
• Research and respond to store merchandise needs and wants.

Requirements:

*Bachelor's Degree

*2+ years business experience (Retail buying, planning or allocations preferred).
Candidates with other applicable experience may also be considered.
