The Community Liaison position is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in our community and the lives of the aging adults we serve.  This position will work closely with our Management Team and will be engaged in many networking activities that promote business development, community involvement, and relationship building with non-profit, health care, and many other professional partners.  If you love building relationships then this may be a very special opportunity to join a staff that is committed to excellence and to each other in supporting our mission.  You will be expected to research and pursue new referral sources and to enhance and maintain existing client referral sources.  This will also include group presentations to educate and inform referral sources and the public on a variety of topics related to in-home care, aging issues, and family dynamics.  You will also research, schedule, and successfully execute regular community events including health fairs, senior expos, and other events that would promote our service to the general public.  While your primary duties will be as stated above, you will also be expected to perform initial care consultations with prospective clients, and perform quality assurance visits with existing clients.
 
The successful individual should possess:
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years sales/business experience.
  • Must have healthcare industry experience.
  • Strong communications, planning, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Word, Excel.
  • Must live in the greater Fredericksburg area.
