We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Production Worker.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Manpower is currently recruiting for a Production Worker position for one of our clients in Pottsville, PA!
Basic Qualifications:
*2 years of manufacturing experience is a must
*Forklift
*HS Diploma/GED
Position:
Position will perform packaging functions - Some machines are PLC touch screen control, some are manual controls, and all require manual labor for loading, unloading and data entry. The worker must do the set up, cleaning, trouble shooting. - Responsible for some mechanical work as far as assembly and disassembly and clean out and must learn all procedures, required JSA and proper PPE to wear during operation. - All workers are certified for forklift on-site and will be required to perform an occasional forklift task.
Machinery:
*Extruders
*Slitting Machines
*Recycle Machines
*Pellet Extruders.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Consistent, positive behavior.
- Team player (works well with others, promotes teamwork among peers).
- Flexible (willing to cross-train into new areas).
- Ability to work independently.
- Self-starter.
- Good organizational skills.
PPE:
Steel-toed shoes are required along with long sleeve shirts
Shift:
Rotating 8 hour shifts - Candidates will need to be prepared this site operates 24/7, 365 days a year. Candidates must be prepared to work 7 day rotations. Example: Candidate may work first 7 day rotation on 1st shift then get 2 days off. When they return for the second 7 day rotation, they must be prepared to work a different shift.
Contract Length: 5 months
Pay: $13/hr
