Reports To: Store Manager

Position Summary: The Retail Assistant Manager will assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, implement strategies to drive store sales and increase profitability, provide Remarkable! customer service, ensure customer needs are met and service is quick and efficient, and maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Primary Responsibilities:
*Supervise, recruit, train, develop, coach and communicate with all associates and managers as well as assess performance
*Oversee timely processing of all personnel actions
*Stay current on new technologies and ensure associate understanding
*Ensure a positive customer experience
*Achieve store level earnings and sales goals
*Ensure company presentation standards are met
*Supervise store security and safety
*Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures
*Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
*Minimum 2 years of retail supervisory experience
*Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
*Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability
*Ability to build, develop and motivate a strong sales team
*Experience in recruiting, selecting and retaining talent
*Excellent communication and organizational skills
*Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts within retail hours of operations
*Passion for customers and sales
*Post-secondary diploma/degree is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
*Bilingual a plus
