Private day and boarding school in estate setting for 320 students grades 9 - 12 and 64 faculty and administration. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served seven days a week. Operates ten months (42 weeks) with summer off.

Premier mid - Atlantic foodservice management company seeks a Sous Chef to staff our unit in Farmington, Connecticut. This prestigious venue seeks an upbeat, progressive culinarian to join our team of dedicated professionals.

This position will assist in the daily preparation of breakfast specials and preparation of soups, sauces, salads, specials, entrees for lunch service and catering. Further, candidates should have proven experience in the use of equipment including slicers, blenders, mixers, ovens, steamer, flat top grill and fryer. Further, the role will include quality and production control, organize, stow and rotate deliveries and maintain kitchen equipment. This position requires the person stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to safely move objects between 30 - 50 pounds. Must comprehend written English for invoices.

Additionally, the hired candidate will have responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, station set up, proper food handling and compliance with all safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.

Lastly, the candidate will provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner at all times.
