About this job

Description

  • Provides quotations, lead time inquiries, order status checks and responds to general customer inquiries
  • Ensures prompt retrieval of website orders
  • Responds to customer support mailbox messages
  • Completes thorough and accurate electronic order processing and ensures customer data is maintained
  • Promptly files orders daily
  • Answers operator calls, as necessary
  • Maintains lead entry volume consistent with customer interaction
  • Tasks sales team with follow up opportunities
  • Maintains work files, including email communication, in an organized and systematic manner
  • Consistently meets daily order entry productivity and phone metrics requirements
  • Determines best methods to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction, while adhering to organizational policies and work procedures
  • Understands when export compliance documents are required for shipment clearance and initiates communication with parties involved
  • Resolves denied parties list hits with global trade compliance team
  • Provides support to regional sales teams which includes backup coverage for sales and service team members, as assigned
  • Provides order management support to escalate customer resolution
  • Coordinates problem resolution with team members and other departments, as necessary
  • Able to adapt effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an office setting and customer service related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service, action-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications
  • Best candidate has SAP and Customer Service background
