This position is 20 hours a week and will work in HCAPS Finance department.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The one-year administrative residency provides an opportunity for residents to work directly with members of the senior leadership team to achieve operational objectives and prepare for leadership positions in healthcare systems or hospitals. This position provides a diversity of experiences involving rotations throughout all major functions/services of the physician practices and Management Services Organization, special program assignments, membership on management teams, and special projects in areas of interest. The resident also receives hands-on mentoring support in leadership, strategic planning, resource management, and performance improvement.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Leads/contributes to assigned projects as directed. May act as project coordinator.

2. Attends meetings as scheduled.

3. Evaluates and/or develops new procedures and methodologies.

4. Perform other duties as required.

5. Must read, understand, and adhere to all HealthONE Physician Care policies and procedures.

6. Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of basic office equipment including copier, fax machine, and computer.

· Skill in dealing with interpersonal issues and customer relations.

· Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.

· Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to organize and communicate clearly.

· Ability to actively support the change process.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.

· Ability to analyze data and processes.

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

· One to three years of experience is preferred in a healthcare setting.
