Registered Nurse (RN) – Admin Supervisor

Centennial Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse ( RN) – Admin Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Represents the hospital as a key leader and coordinates issues to appropriate level for problem solving.
Supervises nursing care and ascertains condition of patients by rounding on all nursing units.
Communicates with nursing Managers/Directors concerning issues on the individual unit(s).
Communicates with the Administrator on call regarding situations of critical importance.
Acts as Administrative liaison between Centennial Medical Center and internal and external customers.
Works collaboratively with Bed Management to insure appropriateness of admissions and with Directors/Managers for the proper placement of patients on the units.
Facilitates the flow of clinical information for the transfer/admission of patients from clinical, hospitals, emergency departments and other locations external to TriStar Centennial Medical Center
Assists with the management of patient flow to eliminate delays and decrease potential for issues.
Facilitates the coordination of surgical and diagnostic procedures during non-operational hours.
Serves as a resource for staff and providers for all operational needs.
Serves as a mentor for staff and providers as appropriate.
Responsible for the oversight of Clinical staffing for the hospital during operational hours.
Serves as liaison for per diem/agency staffing.
Promotes customer service initiatives.
Functions as the administrative representative for all departments assigned.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities as assigned.
Functions as a liaison for patients, families, staff and physicians.
Supports the facility's Standards of Performance and ICARE values.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or approved compact state
Graduate of a professional school of Nursing
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
Supervisory/Managerial experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Current BLS, PALS, & ACLS certification
