Registered Nurse Manager of Hospital Case Management needed for a Full Time/Permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located in Mission Hills and Burbank, CA.
Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Registered Nurse in State of CA (Active and in Good Standing)
- Must possess Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Accredited Nursing School
- 3-5 years of Experience as a Manager of Case Manager in a Acute Care Setting
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide consultative support to UR physician team and administrative staff about laws, rules and regulations pertaining to Utilization Review
- Serve as clinical liaison to the revenue cycle team communicating issues affecting continuum of care
- Work with the community to develop an understanding of community issues and collaborate with peers internally and eternally
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Registered Nurse Licensure in State of CA (Active and in Good Standing)
- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Accredited Nursing School
- Masters Degree in Nursing is preferred from Accredited Nursing School
- Certification in Case Management is highly desirable
- 3-5 years of Experience as a Manager of Case Manager in a Acute Care Setting
- Three (3) years of progressive management experience that includes leadership and supervisory responsibilities, case management/utilization review, and quality improvement
- At least 5 years of Clinical Experience in an Acute Care Setting
- Must have worked as a Hospital Case Manager previously
- Discharge Planning and InterQual Experience
- Intermediate level use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
