Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
ManpowerGroup is currently seeking a Software Developer to help support our client's team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately 2 years. The pay for this position is $38/hr.
Job Description:
*Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes
*Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices
*Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects
*Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software
*Developing and demonstrating automation technologies, which are often used in conjunction with information systems, remote control, semi-autonomous, and fully autonomous machine control systems
*Focus on the development of C++ software development for mining applications
Requirements:
*BS or MS in Computer Engineering
*3+ years post graduate experience
*3+ years of experience with C++ development with any of the following areas:
o Computer Vision
o Image Processing
o Perception Algorithms
o Mission Planning Algorithms
o Machine Learning
* Linux experience
*Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports
*1+ years of experience in modeling and simulation focused on 3D visualization content development
*Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) datasets
*Basic Linux experience
*Strong mathematical background
*Experience with perception hardware/algorithms
*Experience with image processing software implementation
*Experience with computer vision software implementation
*Experience with GIT for software source code management
*Experience with Matlab/Labview
