About this job
Ultimate responsibility and accountability for customer and company P&L for designated Distributor accounts in a specific geographic area.
Oversees and develops team of Market Development Managers, Operator Territory Managers and Inside Territory Managers
Distribution method: FQTGNIS Distributors
Channels: Distributor clients serving Workplace, Restaurants, Rec & Retail channels as well as Cash & Carry
Portfolio: All lines of business (Pepsi, Frito, Quaker, Gatorade, Tropicana, Naked, Izze, Sabra)
Ensures team closes distribution voids
Manages territory of $50-150MM in revenue across all lines of business
Oversees top 40-50 foodservice distributors in region for all lines of business
Deliver plan, grow volume, increase sales and drive key initiatives
Provide field knowledge and competitive information to Region Director, and leadership team
Holds solid-line oversight of team of FTEs serving Distributor accounts
Allocates resources within team to ensure adequate account coverage and service levels
Participates in / represents FQTGNIS in senior-level Regional sales calls, holds ownership of select accounts
Supports Region agenda for improved customer satisfaction
Jointly responsible (with Directors) for ensuring successful integration of Workplace Food sales within the Region Field Sales teams
Identifies / surfaces new innovation / platform / portfolio opportunities
Builds and delivers cost plan; leads controllable cost , continuously drives / improves efficiencies and FTE productivity initiatives to achieve targets
Achieves disciplined rate and margin management for team's accounts (jointly with MDMs): revenue and MC per customer according to plan
Achieves people goals (coaching, sales competency assessments)
Trains and develop MDM's abilities to successfully manage and grow their respective markets
Supports Region employee engagement and capability strategy to improve satisfaction, retention, labor relations and diversity
Reports directly to Region Director
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of successful Sales and People management experience.
Previous foodservice experience considered an asset.
