PURPOSE:
The Sales Program Development SWOT Coach position is responsible for the identification, development, and successful implementation of tactics and tools to improve overall sales performance. This includes but is not limited to identifying, developing and implementing solid sales training programs to improve sales force effectiveness across all sales channels while supporting business objectives and goals.

This position requires a high energy, creative individual with strong communication and verbal skills. The candidate must be self-motivated and willing to travel throughout the markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for working with the Manager of Sales Program Development and other sales leaders to implement sales enhancing strategies, tactic prioritization, and execute approach as defined.
-Analyze key performance reports for impacting trends to Sales Performance within our Sales Channels. Based on these findings determine the training tactics needed to correct sales performance positively. Tactics may include but are not limited to creation of Sales Aids, Huddles, product and/or policy review.
-Proactively identify challenges to the sales process, training and operational policies. Present recommended options for resolution to Manager of Sales Program development.
-Review business related topics to stay current on procedures, policies, product changes, campaigns, competitors and industry related information.
-Accurately track training sessions and communicates results to management through online tools.
-Responsible for partnering with local leadership to create and identify supervisor level action plans based on the sales performance of their respective teams.
-Responsible for providing regular updates on key sales enhancing programs to the Manager of Sales Program Development including recurring reporting as well as written and oral presentations.
-Responsible for partnering with the local Sales Training team to ensure implementation and integration of existing training materials and any newly developed sales enhancing initiatives.
-Provide clear and concise communication to various levels of the organization.
-Performs other duties & functions as required and assigned.

-Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization skills and time management to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
-Demonstrate an understanding and expertise of billing systems; CSG & ICOMS.
-Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
-Ability to think strategically and identify critical success factors when developing strategy and plans for assigned area of responsibility.
-Solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively deal with employees and various levels of management staff and/or outside contacts.
-Strong and effective presentation skills.
-Ability to motivate employees to improve their daily job effectiveness in meeting sales objectives.
-Possess knowledge of and experience in training theories as they relate to skills building, adult learning, transfer of knowledge and change in behaviors.
-Demonstrates interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment. Ability to manage diverse relationships and maintain a professional and positive manner.
-Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and to effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.
-Must show initiative in creating goals for self-development and be an Independent self-starter who requires minimal daily supervision.
-Ability to manage several projects at one time on a daily basis.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience and other education.
-Four to five years of cable industry or telecommunications experience required.
-Be well versed in the use of personal computers and various software applications (i.e. Adobe Connect, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Microsoft Explorer/Internet) and familiar with Access, audio/visual equipment.
-Up to 30% travel may be required to attend work related meetings and training sessions within and outside of the United States if needed.
-May be required to work a flexible schedule that provides needed coverage for service levels or time sensitive projects.
-Requires a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record and use of a personal vehicle.
