JOB SUMMARY:
Analyzes and reviews WC claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility. Prepares and maintains reports and records for processing.
  • Daily follow up with claim adjusters to ensure quick resolution and aggressive claim closure
  • Acts as liaison between corporate and field offices to facilitate the gathering of information that will facilitate proper response to WC claim losses and legal documents.
  • Work with insurance carrier to verify WC claims submitted are work related and request closing if submitted in error
  • Identifies exposures to the company and facilitates senior-level management’s knowledge of pending WC claims and litigation that may have an adverse impact on the corporate goals.
  • Acts as the liaison to attorneys, insurance companies and individuals investigating any WC incidents that may result in loss claims.
  • Reviews and analyzes WC claims loss and expense reserves established by insurance carriers.
  • Acts as liaison between the insurance carriers and insurance broker to maintain loss expense reserves that are reflective of the company’s exposure.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years working with workers compensation claims
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, valuate and settle claims and interact with TPA
  • Multi-jurisdictional experience preferred
