Entry level Operations Supervisory position. Reports to a Team Manager or Operations Manager. This is an Individual Contributor that directs a small unit or section of the company's internal operations activities. Responsibilities focus on the day to day resolution of problems and execution of transactions within specific operations units requiring immediate and frequent involvement with unit activities, e.g., reviewing and authorizing General Ledger entries, approving exception processing, etc. Reviews operations procedures and implements changes and ensures the enforcement and adherence to operations procedures. Provides guidance to staff and may handle exception items or unusual situations, referring more complex problems to a senior level manager. Requires basic operations knowledge with work experience in a specific product line. More than 50% of time is spent doing actual production work. May provide input into key people decisions (i.e. Salary Planning, Performance management, hiring/firing, etc.). Typically has 1-2 years Operations experience with no prior management experience.
Responsibilities/Position Summary:
Responsibilities of the Account Maintenance Senior Associate include:
Assisting account holders, Investment Center associates and Financial Solutions Advisors in obtaining client information with proper documentation in order to update accounts .
Deliver high quality customer service, stressing client focus, product knowledge, and problem resolution.
Provide clients with accurate information by keeping abreast of procedures and demonstrating the ability to provide complete and concise explanations to inquiries made via inbound phone calls.
Partner closely with internal team members to deepen client relationships.
Maintain a high level of personal integrity and comply with the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Assist with administrative activities related to the management of the team.
Participate in key business initiatives to support the overall platform.
Demonstrate the ability to master team policies and procedures quickly. Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate ability to make timely and accurate decisions
Excellent organization skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Must remain current with and comply with regulatory requirements
Understand and demonstrate cultural awareness

Bachelor's degree (business related discipline strongly preferred), or 1-2 years relevant work experience
Ability to work as part of a team and foster collaborative relationships within and across business units and sectors
Prior client service experience in the financial services industry
Superior client service proficiency including excellent verbal, written and listening skills
Discipline and efficiency to manage workload
Preferred Skills:
Previous Leadership or Team Lead experience
Knowledge of Merrill Edge products and services
