Position Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage, negotiate, and execute a high volume of contract renewals
- Follow all requirements associated with ensuring accuracy of pricing, business terms & approvals for all renewals managed.
- Aid in the development, implementation and refinement of a streamlined end-to-end renewal process
- Knowledge of Optum Solutions and organizational structure to drive crisp delivery of renewal process including system updates, client management and sales functionality
- Partner successfully with sales, client management and the business units to design renewal strategies that demonstrate the value proposition, as well as, consistent with pricing and service delivery expectations
- Review client contracts to ensure that the terms and conditions are consistent with current expectations internally and externally
- Drive processes and/or contractual changes where applicable (e.g. migration to newer product schedules, product upgrade expectations, etc.)
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5+ years working with Software or Services supporting Client Contracts/Renewal Process/Sales Pipeline Management
- 5+ years Client-facing skills (e.g. Client Relationship Management, Consultation, Client Messaging and Positioning)
- 5+ years working in a complex Matrixed organization.
- 5+ years Negotiating, Selling, and Client Management experience
- 5+ years of Data and Analytical skills.
- 5+ years working with Cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Contracting, Product & Support.)
- Salesforce CRM experience.
- Renewal experience in Healthcare Industry.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Project Management experience.
