About this job
Our client is needing Installers with mechanical assembly experience (preferably on cars) for parts on the outside and inside of trucks. Candidates will be working on the chassis of the truck, working off of blueprints and assembling parts using hand tools, power tools and electrical tools (wire strippers, Diagonal cutters, Terminal crimpers 8 to 18 gauge). If the candidate has good electrical wiring experience, they will use their skills to wire the trucks GPS, Alarms, and the actual box that operates the aerial lift. There is also hydraulic assembly required for candidates with hydraulic experience (not mandatory for the job it is just a plus) with the aerial lift control box that our contractor will be assembling. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure!
This is a 1st shift position M-F and Saturdays 6AM - 4:30PM. There will be plenty of overtime. Although, contractors will be working later than 4:30PM.
