**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**

The initial point of client contact and servicing. This position has frontline involvement with administering Travel protection plans for Cruise Lines, Tour Operators, and Retail Accounts. Essential duties include: Answer incoming calls in a prompt professional manner while meeting performance standards (average availability, talk time and call volume). Extend quality service to clients by providing knowledgeable coverage information and assisting with additional inquiries. Initiate claims and provide subsequent status information. Maintain key performance indicators, meeting standards set for the position. Compose written responses to customer inquiries. Voluntary participation on special project teams, to enhance the departmental knowledge base. Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**

* **Minimum of 1year of customer service experience / call center experience**
* Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients.
* Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
