Timpanogos Regional Hospital is looking for an experienced Mammo Technologist to join our team!
This position performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. They will make special radiographic examinations requiring special equipment and procedures. They provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient. Maintain an environment that provides the patient and family with feelings of safety and security.
This position will also take x-ray call according to monthly schedule after the closing of the regular department hours and weekends.
Minimum Requirements:
1 - 2 years experience in surgery, portables, trauma, mammography and fluoroscopy preferred.
Graduate from a CAHEA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT RT/MAMMO.
Certified by the State of Utah.
Current BLS certification.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Skills:
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Strong verbal and written skills required.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required
