About this job
· Addresses all goals in the plan of care
· Performs treatment programs in accordance with the plan of care established by the supervising occupational therapist
· Consults with the supervising occupational therapists prior to making any changes in the plan of care
· Prepares patient for treatment as requested by the supervising occupational therapist
· Performs all other duties as requested by the supervising occupational therapist within the scope of practice of the occupational therapist assistant
· Rotate in other areas as needed or requested to provide occupational therapy services
· Writing is neat and legible
· Documentation follows the SOAP format.
Essential educational/licensure, skills and experience:
Completion of an Occupational Therapy program approved by the council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must hold an active Occupational Therapy Assistant License issued by the state of Indiana.
Certification in BLS must be maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital · Addresses all goals in the plan of care
