THE JOB:

Our WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES are a vital part of the REI Team and are the most common entry point into our Distribution Team. They support REI as Merchandise Handlers, Receiving, Marking, Splitting, Wrapping, and Shipping Clerks. The primary focus is to move product accurately and efficiently throughout the warehouse.

• Merchandise Handler – Stocking or picking merchandise

• Receiving Clerk – Accurate and timely receipt of incoming merchandise

• Marking Clerk – Accurately checking, marking, and packaging merchandise

• Shipping Clerk – Loading cartons of merchandise for safe, secure, and accurate transport to the retail stores

• Wrapping Clerk – Providing prompt and accurate packaging of customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction

• Split-to-Store Clerk – Accurately checking, ticketing, splitting, and packing full case quantities as well as distributing receipts and warehouse stock

Qualifications:

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Prior warehouse or relevant experience

The ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment, display initiative and innovation on the job, and meet or exceed attendance requirements

The ability to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work

Outstanding safety record

Basic math skills

Familiarity working with computer systems or key pads

AVAILABILITY:

Sumner, Washington Distribution Center

Day Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm

Swing Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm

Graveyard Shift: 10:30pm-6:00am

Bedford, Pennsylvania Distribution Center

Day Shifts: 3:00 am - 5:00 pm

Swing Shifts: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Night Shifts: 10:30 pm – 7:00 am

Shifts are scheduled either Monday - Friday or Sunday - Thursday, and may include other days or additional hours due to heavy volumes.

NOTE: REI maintains a drug and alcohol free workplace. All offers of employment for this position are conditional based on the satisfactory completion a pre-employment drug test.
