POSITION PURPOSE -
This position is for a Developer II in the Enterprise Applications Services area. The position entails working on solutions that will be used to support enterprise level initiatives.
This position will require Implementation of technical deliverables, such as web services, user interfaces, integrations, database queries, etc. The resource should also be able to deliver technical and functional documentation.
Collaboration with business and IT partners to build solutions that solve customer problems and deliver business value. Should have the ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual contributor.

- 2+ years of experience in a developer role.
- Demonstrate ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution.
- College Graduate in Computer Science or relevant experience.
- Req - Java - 1.7 (1-2 years)
- J2EE (Tomcat)
- Familiar with Web Services using REST, JSON
- Development tools - Eclipse, Jenkins, SONAR, JIRA
- Knowledgeable in Frontend Technologies - JavaScript / HTML / CSS / jQuery / DOM
- Database (comfortable with SQL and data design)
- Messaging (AMQ)
- Linux
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical documents.
- Ability to communicate issues and recommend solutions in a timely manner to Management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- BS Computer Science or related field.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
- Take business requirements and develop the total technical design for assigned mid-sized projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production.
- Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards.
- Conduct appropriate test reviews on assigned projects as necessary. Present findings and offer solutions to management.
NATURE AND SCOPE -
- Typically reports to Manager, Information Technology
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must pass the Drug Test.
- Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses
