POSITION PURPOSE -
The Quality Assurance Analyst assists in developing and monitoring brand quality performance metrics over time to ensure strategic growth initiatives of Home Depot Private Brands. Performs detailed data analysis in relation to the Return to Vendor (RTV), Store Markdowns, Customer Care Calls, and On-Line Star Ratings in order to defend brand growth initiatives to optimize market share, revenue and profitability. Serves as liaison between IT Groups and QA, Engineering & Brand Development teams by facilitating communication and project planning related to quality improvement initiatives. Serves as subject matter expert related to Quality Data and Statistical Analysis within assigned initiative scope. Projects would include formulating repeatable metrics for Returns & Store Markdown, Customer Care & Online Star Ratings. Establish and report regularly on all quality metrics of assigned initiative scope to gauge brand performance.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
50% Conduct product quality analysis
30% Conduct customer analytics
10% Conduct brand initiative analysis
10% Other brand management department projects, as assigned
NATURE AND SCOPE -
Position reports to Quality Assurance Director.
No direct responsibility for supervising others.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
EDUCATION REQUIRED -
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 02
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
- Statistical, mathematics, business or data analysis experience
- Word, Advanced Excel
- Working knowledge of SAS (Enterprise Guide), Tableau, ProClarity Analytics, and/or other Statistical Software Package
- Working knowledge of Teradata DCM Software
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES -
- Solid communication and project management skills
- Detail-oriented
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
