POSITION PURPOSE

The HR Reporting Delivery Sr. Analyst is responsible for the HR Analytics & Reporting team's software and technologies that support the department's distribution of data, reporting and analytics at The Home Depot. The position's goal is to enable access to key business data in order to drive innovation, execution and focus to HR users.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
10% Organize and lead current and to be business processes using business and systems expertise, and accepted procedures and methodologies.
20% Document business requirements and work with both IT and business partners on appropriate design decisions.
10% Participate in appropriate steps within the solution development lifecycle to ensure functional requirements are met and meetings are facilitated with functional SMEs, peers, management, and other key stakeholders
20% Lead end to end implementation planning to include change management, training and support
10% Facilitate aspects of individual projects to include work plans, issues resolution, and status reports 10% Prepare, develop or configure programs and processes typically of moderate to high complexity
10% Participate in and perform appropriate quality assurance testing
10% Lead, coach and develop HRS Business Analyst and HRS Specialist as needed to accomplish business goals

NATURE AND SCOPE - Typically reports to Manager HR Services or Sr. Manager HR Services. No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 4

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills and Experience
Experience implementing, and supporting online reporting solutions that allow for scalable information sharing throughout the organization.
Strong ability in online reporting design through BI tools such as Microstrategy.
Ability to build data visualization models and dashboards that will display data and business insights to a wide range of company leaders.
Proven experience developing mobile reporting models in Microstrategy.
Experience in requirements gathering and data analysis.
Experience in working across matrix organizations.
Knowledge with other BI Reporting Tools a plus (Microstrategy, Tableau, DB2, etc.)
Good accounting and analysis skills to assure reporting accuracy.
Understand data warehousing, Big Data, Business Intelligence (analytics, reporting).
Passion for Business Intelligence (analytics, reporting) value proposition.
Knowledge and experience with Reporting Delivery tools, primarily MicroStrategy. Familiarity with Teradata, DB2 also a must; Tableau knowledge also useful.
Experience with client facing consulting engagements
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill.
Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications. Stays aware of current trends and technical advancements.
Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
