POSITION PURPOSE - The RLC Inventory Control Associate ensures inventory accuracy within the returns processing areas, systems and process quality, as well as vendor compliance by conducting cycle. The responsibilities will include daily cycle counts and analysis of results, research and documentation of analysis activities, along with supporting special processes and projects as they relate to the analysis of the inventory. This role is also responsible for building relationships with the internal Centralized Return to Vendor vendors, and functional groups at the Repair and Liquidation Centers to drive a quality outcome.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
-10% Identify, analyze and resolve all inventory control and processing issues within assigned areas. Conduct root cause analysis on all related issues under the guidance of the RLC Asset Protection Manager, GM, or Operations Manager of both Home Depot and 3rd party CRTV provider. Document issues and make recommendations for improvement.
-80% Audit assigned areas as directed by RLC Asset Protection Manager. Partners with Operations Manager, Supervisors and associates to resolve any issues related to quality (inventory and location accuracy) within the respective processing areas. Maintain error log report and detail deficiencies found in assigned processing areas.
-10% Drives accuracy and awareness by training Managers and associates on the warehouse management system.

NATURE AND SCOPE - Position reports to the RLC General Manager with guidance provided by RLC Asset Protection Manager. Guidance and prior permission from RLC Asset Protection Manager is required before changing work methods. No direct responsibility for supervising others.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must pass the Drug Test.
  • Must pass Background Check.
  • Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.
EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 02

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS -
-Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
-Must be able to identify, read and interpret operating documents such as labels and reports.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
-Knowledge of GENCO Rlog system
-Experience with MS Office Suite
-Knowledge of reverse logistics warehouse operation
