Job Summary
Area level inside position responsible for managing sales-related activities directly with assigned Waste Brokers for WM-serviced accounts.
An assigned Book of Business will be managed by this inside staff position in order to manage the profitable retention and growth of our business that is contracted through assigned third-party Waste Brokers. Administrative tasks make up a significant portion of the daily duties, negotiation skills and contract management experience required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by location.
Negotiation of contract terms and rate structure with Third-Party Waste Brokers
Administrative Management of service-related requests by Third-Party Waste Brokers
Outbound phone activity to establish relationships with Third-Party Brokers
Securing New Business opportunities through strong relationships and leveraged negotiations.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years previous experience.
PREFERRED
1 year experience with WM Databases (MAS, AMP, & SFDC)
6 months experience with WM/Broker Contract templates.
6 months experience with B2B Customer Service/Sales Experience.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Excellent verbal, written and analytic skills
Typing and computer skills - MS Office
Professional phone etiquette - able to manage challenging customer situations and respond promptly to service requests to meet customer commitments
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Works well under pressure and treats others with respect
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
Prioritizes and plans work activities
Focuses on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting
Works efficiently and effectively, both independently and with the team to ensure exceeding call center standards.
Balances team and individual responsibilities and helps build a positive team spirit
Adapts and able to deal with frequent changes in the work environment
Accuracy and thoroughness to meet productivity standards in a timely manner.

Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc) most of the work day;

Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely;
