Quality Assurance Supervisor

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Quality Assurance Supervisor position for a well established company in Spartanburg, SC. Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a seven year clear criminal background. The pay for this position is $42k-$45k to start, depending on experience. Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma Knowledge of Industry Minimum of 5 years related work experience Knowledge of F.M.E.A. and Tops Knowledge of SPC and the ability to analyze data Positive attitude towards new ideas Committed to Continuous Improvement Loyal attitude towards the Company Job Description: Oversee all Quality Assurance activities in the department to ensure that the quality targets are met at the lowest possible cost. Exercise supervisory control and direction over the Company's day-to-day Quality activities. Notifies Q.A. Manager of all non-conforming material. Reviews work performance of Quality Inspectors and makes recommendations regarding future work assignments. Assists operators as to the use of gauges, fixtures, prints and SPC control charts, as well as any quality parameter specific to their production operation. Works on PPAP submission requirements when required. Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures. Provide accurate and timely reports to the quality manager and management. Work with department supervisors to develop effective Corrective and Preventive Actions. Participate in training as required to maintain and enhance skill level. Assist in the training and development of new employees. Work in conjunction with quality manager to identify training needs. Provide instructions on basic blue print reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, gauge equipment operation and other quality related systems, as required. Carries out any additional duties, as required.
