Field Service Technician

In this Field Service Technician position, you will have the opportunity to:

Install and service machinery.
Train customer operational personnel.
Perform troubleshooting and start]up of machinery.
Conduct testing on machine components.
Provide technical feedback for product improvements.

Special requirements/ skills needed

Experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting (Rockwell & Siemens) and networking.
Background with packaging equipment.
Electrical & mechanical background.
Able to read/understand blue prints and electrical documentation.
Spanish language is a plus, but is not a requirement.
80% travel (flexible to travel weekdays and weekends).

Position requires candidate to build and test equipment and then send equipment to customer and go to customer site to install equipment.

Road Warriors - This position does involve heavy travel. Most travel occurs between Monday Friday, and Weekends are rarely required. Most travel is within North America and must have infrequent trips to Mexico (must have a passport).
