The Assistant General Manager's role is critical to the Results of the restaurant; directly overseeing the People and Business systems. The Selection, training, development and retention of restaurant Associates support all restaurant systems.
The Donatos Assistant General Manager acts for the General Manager when the GM is not in the Restaurant; they are responsible for overall restaurant operations. The development of Associates in the restaurant must be a continual focus. The Assistant General Manager's role is one of coach and teacher, and is constantly seeking opportunities to motivate and develop Managers and Associates to operate as an efficient well functioning team
