About this job

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates orientation, in-services, competencies, and continuing education programs within area of specialization. Promotes a model of continuous learning through participation in education, consultation, role modeling and research. Facilitates and supports learning opportunities for the organization and the community, with particular emphasis on programs that impact the entire organization, across team lines.

Basic Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor's of Science.

Experience - 2 years of experience in acute care clinical experience required; related to area of focus preferred.

Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN).

Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS, CPR & BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications:

Education - Master's Degree in Nursing Education or Adult Education.

Experience - Education and program development.

Licenses - Certification in clinical specialty or Nursing Professional Development, or acquired when eligible.
