Responsibilities* The Parking and Transportation Services department is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to perform various business tasks and provide administrative support for the Parking Operations and Maintenance division. Additionally this position provides administration support to the Executive Director. Duties reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature; it is expected that the position will adapt procedures, processes and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt. The position reports to the Associate Director.

Work duties include procurement, accounts payable and human resources administration using the University's MPathways systems (Peoplesoft), management of credit card (Pcard) and staff travel, and development and maintenance of detailed financial tracking and work monitoring spreadsheets and reports. The position is responsible to assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, reconcile financial activities, manage service contracts, process Risk Management (insurance) claims, and prepare service unit billings and invoices. Additional responsibilities completion of the annual space survey, equipment inventory tracking and reporting, coordination of property disposal, management of shared equipment, building access management and maintenance of key issuance records.

Required Qualifications* The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently, performing a wide range of duties with accuracy and attention to detail, and to utilize resources effectively. Further, they will have or possess the following essential knowledge, skills or abilities:

- Associate's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent education and experience

- Five years progressively more responsible administrative work experience

- Excellent organizational skills

- The ability to work effectively with others

- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing

- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications* Experience using Mpathways (Peoplesoft), Concur and C-Cure software, and University experience is highly desired.
