Contract assignment that's scheduled to go until the end of the year at a well-known, global company with a headquarters in San Francisco, CA.

Summary:

Work to effectively deliver Retirement and Global programs to the service level agreements of the business

Reports to a Senior Manager of Benefits.

Provides administration and project support to 401k, Pension plan, Deferred Compensation for Executives and Retiree Medical. Additional plans include global retirement, expatriate medical, emergency traveler, Business Travel Accident, global life insurance.

Education/Education:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on retirement plan administration experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits administration desired.

Skills and Competencies:


Strong administration and project management skills with ability to address multiple plans and projects simultaneously.

Working knowledge of Workday is highly desired. Experience with other HCM (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP) is required.

Working background in US 401k programs required. Knowledge of pension plans a plus.

Strong aptitude for data management, vendor integrations and new implementations, root-cause problem resolution and business analytics also highly desired.

Must be a self-starter with the capability to perform independently in a change-oriented environment.

Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Above average competency with MS Excel and benefits administration applications.

Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and SharePoint desired.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Administer programs on a variety of automated (some manual) systems for plan compliance, business and cost efficiency, and data accuracy.

Provide continuous business process improvement, plan audits, compliance review, data error research and resolution.

Partner with vendors, Benefits Accounting, Payroll, HR Communications, and HRIS teams.

Billing and fee tracking for programs as necessary. Provide input to the annual fringe budget.

Coordinate Retirement Committee meetings, agenda and minutes preparation. Coordinate claims, appeals, and communications for Committee review.

Assist with program analysis, development, benefit design recommendations and planning.

Coordinate communications: input to planning, collateral development, print fulfillment or electronic delivery, myHR portal content updates.

Coordinate with HR BPO to support plan documentation and work rules.
